As of 12:00 AM KST on September 5, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 107.90 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, down 2.73% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 106.31 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 1.59 million KRW and a kimchi premium of 1.49%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 1.61%. Other major altcoins also traded at premiums, with Solana (SOL) at 1.56%, XRP (XRP) at 1.62%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.47%, and Sui (SUI) at 1.57%. Most major altcoins are currently trading with a kimchi premium in the 1.4% to 1.6% range.
