QNT BULLISH WHEN LINK FUD
  • Chainlink’s negative sentiment hit rare levels as traders showed peak frustration, often a precursor to a potential price rebound.
  • Quant’s sentiment plunged to a multi-week low with rising FUD, signaling a possible bounce zone as retail confidence collapses.
  • Both LINK and QNT saw intensified bearish social trends alongside price dips, hinting at oversold conditions favorable for reversal.

Chainlink (LINK) and Quant (QNT) are drawing heavy negative sentiment as their prices slump across a three-week period. According to Santiment data from March 14 to April 13, 2025, both assets have experienced noticeable FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt). This emotional shift among traders comes after persistent declines in token value.

Intensified negativity correlates with their downward trends. Hence, investor impatience is becoming more visible across social media platforms. Notably, such extreme sentiment often signals a possible rebound, especially when viewed through a contrarian lens.

Chainlink has encountered a rare wave of negative sentiment. This marks only the third and fourth such events so far this year. During this period, negative mentions far exceeded positive ones. Consequently, LINK's price dropped in parallel with this rising skepticism.

Moreover, social commentary grew more bearish as the token failed to recover from earlier pullbacks. The Santiment data shows these peaks in negativity using annotated directional arrows. These visual markers align with LINK’s lowest price points. Additionally, stronger bar intensities suggest that trader frustration may be at a seasonal high.

The technical indicators reveal sentiment dipping below price at several moments. This often suggests oversold conditions. Besides, past market data shows that such patterns frequently precede bullish reversals. With the crowd turning bearish, LINK could be nearing a value zone attractive to long-term holders.

Quant Sentiment Hits Multi-Week Low

Quant is also under pressure. Its sentiment line, represented in blue, has dropped to its lowest since late March. This sharp decline accompanies a visible downtrend in QNT’s price action. Moreover, the drop in positive engagement suggests growing doubt in its near-term recovery. The Bar illustrates these mood shifts clearly, reflecting rising trading volume during negative sentiment spikes.

However, historical trends imply that extreme FUD often marks a turning point.  The data shows this relationship through synchronized price and sentiment movement. Additionally, annotations reinforce the idea of capitulation by retail sentiment. Hence, QNT may also be approaching a key bounce zone.
