While the Monday opening did push too much, Bitcoin found it hard to break above $85,000 while marking a daily high of $84,644 and falling as low as $82,361 earlier today. Meanwhile SOL and XRP are heavily lagging with both dropping nearly 3% in the past 24 hours.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading near $83,250 with a 24 hour trading volume of $24.92 billion. Many investors were expecting BTC to break above $85,500 and liquidate the Hyperliquid Whale but it lacked any notable push.
SOL has continued downtrading today with it dropping from the high of $130 to the low of $123.69 while it is down nearly 3% in the past 24 hours. Similarly, XRP has also dropped 4% from the daily high of $2.3758 to $2.2478 in the past 24 hours.
Other notable price actions include CAKE’s 8% jump, which has continued surging since the past few days. Besides, the price of OKB, TRX, ATOM and TON have also increased nearly 5% today.
On the losing side, PI (Pi Coin) is leading with it losing 16% while CRO and BERA losing over 7% in the past 24 hours.
As per Coinmarketcap data, the global crypto market cap today sits at $2.7 trillion with a 24 hour trading volume of $74.24 billion.
