The cryptocurrency market rebounded on Aug. 25, with Bitcoin approaching the $80,000 mark and Aerodrome Finance (AERO) emerging as the top-performing asset among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, according to CoinMarketCap.

According to CoinMarketCap at 10:30 a.m. KST on Aug. 25, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 3.19% from the previous day to $79,696.18, while Ethereum (ETH) gained 2.22% to $2,494.33.
XRP climbed 1.81% to $1.50, while Solana (SOL) posted one of the strongest gains among major cryptocurrencies, rising 7.17% to $101.10. Tron (TRX) edged up 0.70% to $0.3457, and Avalanche (AVAX) advanced 1.96% to $7.61.
Dogecoin (DOGE) was the only major cryptocurrency in the group to decline, slipping 0.35% to $0.0911. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) gained 0.43% to $0.05788, while Worldcoin (WLD) rose 3.56% to $0.4089.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Aerodrome Finance (AERO) recorded the biggest 24-hour gain, surging 13.93%. Litentry (LIT) posted the steepest decline, falling 5.62%.
Elsewhere in the altcoin market, QUAI fell 4.14% to $0.01148, while ALEO declined 2.51% to $0.01688.
CoinMarketCap also added three newly listed cryptocurrencies over the past 24 hours: ZIP CAT (ZIPCAT), Binance Cat (BNBCAT), and DGrid AI (DGAI).
