The cryptocurrency market recorded widespread losses on March 2, with most major digital assets trading lower.
According to CoinMarketCap, as of 10:30 AM KST on March 2, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.89% to $66,464.67, while Ethereum (ETH) declined 1.07% to $1,962.39. XRP (XRP) dropped 1.40% to $1.36, and Dogecoin (DOGE) slipped 1.07% to $0.09349. Solana (SOL) decreased 1.02% to $84.72, while Avalanche (AVAX) edged down 1.08% to $9.10. Shiba Inu (SHIB) fell 2.47% to $0.055649, Aptos (APT) dipped 0.42% to $0.9548, and Pi (PI) lost 1.38% to $0.1686.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Hyperliquid (HYPE) posted the largest 24-hour gain, rising 5.49%, while Decred (DCR) recorded the steepest decline with a 7.23% drop.
Other notable altcoins included Obol (OBOL), which slipped 0.66% to $0.01675, and Aleo (ALEO), which gained 1.47% to $0.07761.
