As of 4:00 PM KST on March 16, the global cryptocurrency market exhibited mixed movements, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Bitcoin (BTC) recorded a slight increase of 0.15%, trading at $84,231.37. Ethereum (ETH) also saw an uptick of 0.17%, reaching $1,928.64. However, XRP (XRP) experienced a decline of 1.10%, with its price standing at $2.39.

Other major cryptocurrencies showed varied performances. Dogecoin (DOGE) witnessed a significant surge of 4.29%, trading at $0.1611. Solana (SOL) gained 1.83%, reaching $122.54. In contrast, Avalanche (AVAX) dropped by 1.09% to $2.38. Shiba Inu (SHIB) saw a rise of 1.75%, with its price at $0.000013. Additionally, Aptos (APT) recorded a marginal increase of 0.12%, trading at $5.34, while Pi (PI) climbed 2.76% to $1.49.

Toncoin (TON) recorded the highest gain among major cryptocurrencies, surging 18.65% in the past 24 hours. Conversely, Hyperliquid (HYPE) suffered the steepest decline, plunging 7.06% during the same period.

Several new cryptocurrencies were listed on CoinMarketCap within the past 24 hours, including: △Staked Frax USD (SFRXUSD): $1.12 △Toothless (TOOTHLESS): $0.0126453 △TALA (1OZT): $2,984.84.
