How Miner Wars Is Redefining Bitcoin Mining

In mid-September, we launched Miner Wars, and it’s been a wild ride since. What began as a vision—a gamified, social way to mine Bitcoin—has quickly evolved into what we believe is the most fun and dynamic approach to Bitcoin mining yet. Miner Wars bring miners together, add strategy and competition elements, and raise the stakes with real rewards—both in BTC and GOMINING.

And it’s working.

Just weeks after its beta release, Miner Wars welcomed 23,000+ unique players and saw over $800,000 in in-game purchases through GOMINING tokens. 97.5% of that value goes straight into the weekly prize pool, further fueling intense competition and rewarding top players.

Two months in, an incredible ecosystem is unfolding. Massive clans with legendary leaders like MineBitcoin.PRO and Wagmington dominate the field, while smaller clans innovate with clever strategies. There are Cinderella stories, too—players with as little as 16 TH/s have won blocks with big multipliers, walking away with tens of thousands of GOMINING tokens.

"How do I choose the right clan?" It's a question we've been hearing a lot. Good news—our upcoming update is here to help!

This update will give you deeper insights into Clan performance, introducing key data points like effectiveness and win probability based on previous results. With these tools, finding your perfect clan will be easier than ever.

Viral Referral Program

This one has already gone live! Starting November 22, you can invite friends to Miner Wars and earn 5% of their in-game GOMINING spend.

This feature is designed to grow the community while rewarding players for spreading the word and making Miner Wars even more popular. It’s just the first step toward creating a flywheel effect around the Miner Wars invitation system—buckle up!

Flex your Achievements

We’re adding an extra layer of gamification with achievements.

Imagine: every round, the user that wins the block will receive a special achievement badge on their digital miner—a literal sticker slapped on their miner. Cool, right?

Other achievements will celebrate milestones like the number of blocks won, and they won't be exclusive to Miner Wars but will be part of the wider GoMining ecosystem.

These badges will be attached to the digital miner itself, not the owner, making miners more collectible and valuable on the secondary market. As we always say, there’s more to our digital miners than just their TH/s and kw/TH.
