On the other hand, the two assets leading the market by a wide margin, Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), constituted a large portion of the total market volume of $29 billion.

Looking at the current state of dog-themed meme coins in the meme coin market, Dogecoin was seen at the top with a market value of $19 billion. This situation reflects a volume of $10 billion for SHIB, while WIF, one of the significant projects on the Solana network, has a volume of $2.5 billion, and BONK has a volume of $1.9 billion.

The last meme coin in the top 10, FLOKI, reached a volume of $1.7 billion with a value of $0.0001836, as reflected in the charts.

Current State of Cat-Themed Meme Coins

There was also activity in cat-themed meme coins. Popcat (POPCAT) was particularly leading this movement. At the time of writing, it was leading cat-themed meme coins with a market value of $795 million. Although POPCAT had a good start to the week, its price dropped to $0.81 after a 10% decline in the last 24 hours.

Another cat-themed meme coin in the top 10, cat in a dogs world (MEW), had a successful week and made a significant impact on the market with gains of over 80%. After the rise, MEW’s price continues to trade at $0.007599.

MOG, which is 9th in the top 10 meme coin list, reached a volume of $745 million with a price of $0.000002064.

Considering all these situations, it would not be wrong to say that dog-themed meme coins continue to dominate the meme coin market. However, it can also be said that the three cat-themed projects in the top 10 continue to follow them.
