MANTRA, a Layer-1 blockchain designed for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, has launched RWAccelerator, a specialized startup accelerator program. This initiative aims to fund, mentor, and support early-stage projects that focus on bringing real-world assets onto the blockchain.
With Google Cloud as a key partner, RWAccelerator provides startups with investment capital, expert guidance, AI-driven solutions, and access to Google Cloud’s infrastructure. The program aligns with the growing RWA market, which the World Economic Forum projects will account for 10% of the global GDP ($10 trillion) by 2027.
RWAccelerator is designed to fast-track innovation in RWA tokenization, focusing on real estate, financial products, and alternative assets. Participants will have access to:
Funding opportunities to accelerate growth
Technical mentorship from blockchain and finance experts
AI-powered support to optimize operations
Google Cloud resources including cloud credits, technical workshops, and hands-on guidance
According to John Patrick Mullin, CEO of MANTRA, the initiative is a game-changer for Web3 startups:
“This is a powerful opportunity for startups to harness cutting-edge technology and gain access to resources and mentorship. With support from Google Cloud, RWAccelerator will allow startups to reach new heights and significantly contribute to the wider Web3 community.”
Applicants to RWAccelerator can choose from three distinct tracks:
Projects building blockchain infrastructure, compliance tools, and security solutions for RWA tokenization.
Startups focused on digitizing real-world assets such as real estate, commodities, and financial instruments.
Projects developing decentralized finance (DeFi) applications that enhance liquidity, lending, and staking for RWAs.
Each applicant will undergo a rigorous screening process to identify innovative and scalable ideas.
RWAccelerator is powered by Google Cloud, offering:
Cloud credits to reduce infrastructure costs
Workshops by Google engineers on blockchain scalability and security
Technical support for building and deploying blockchain-based RWA solutions
Richard Widdman, representing Google Cloud, emphasized the partnership’s goal:
“By providing access to Google Cloud’s infrastructure and expertise, we aim to create an environment where startups can truly thrive, experiment, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in the Web3 space.”
Applications for RWAccelerator’s first intake are open until March 20, 2025. Chosen participants will be notified by April 1, 2025, and will kick off the three-month program with an in-person summit in Dubai.
A second intake will open on March 20, 2025 for additional participants.
MANTRA’s Layer-1 blockchain is built specifically for tokenizing real-world assets while ensuring regulatory compliance. The network recently launched its mainnet, allowing users to stake OM tokens, bridge assets from Ethereum, and qualify for future RWA airdrops.
By combining permissionless blockchain technology with institutional-grade compliance mechanisms, MANTRA aims to bridge traditional finance with blockchain technology. The platform’s long-term vision is to support a multi-trillion-dollar RWA economy, creating new opportunities for investors, developers, and enterprises.
