NFT market surges with $198.1M in sales volume activity

The market of non-fungible tokens keeps going up when crypto prices go in various directions, having Bitcoin attaining $104,000 as Ethereum retreating from $3,300. The NFT data provider,

CryptoSlam claims that NFT sales volume has boosted to $198.1 million, up by 22.44% from the last week. 

The market has also witnessed a strong influx of new traders, having both buyers and sellers growing substantially. As per the weekly metrics indicating market activity, the NFT sales volume grew to $198.1 million from $164.3 million. 

The growth of NFT buyers 

The number of buyers of NFT grew by 62.09% and stood at 447,099. Talking about sellers, it went up by 44.53% and hovered around 319,002. The overall transactions plunged by 4.04% and came to 1,413,428. 

The CoinMarketCap data reveals that the complete crypto market cap has fallen slightly to $3.58 trillion from $3.6 trillion in the last week. The NFT sales of Ethereum went up by 41.56% to $116.2 million, taking the number of buyers to 48,616. Wash trading went up by 53% and stood at $64.9 million. 

At the same time, Bitcoin NFTs went down by 7.82% and stood at $25.5 million, and the number of buyers skyrocketed by 44.72% to 34,483. Solana also skyrocketed by 21.40% to $18.1 million, with 160,057 buyers joining in. 

Mythos Chain took the fourth position having $13.0 million, up 2.00%, at the same time Immutable took the fifth position having $7.2 million, skyrocketing by 20.02%. 

NFT collections sales by sales volume in the last 7 days 

A collection of NFTs designed by Chiru Labs, Azuki doubled its primacy with $29.3 million in sales, going up by 106%. The collection onboarded around 547 buyers and 576 sellers, having transactions going up by 231%. 

The Pudgy penguin took second place with $14 million, showing a 52.92% surge. DMarket held firmly in third position having $8 million, skyrocketing 2.39%. Azuki Elementals held the fourth position at $7 million, growing by 30%. 

At the same time, CryptoPunks stood at the fifth position with $7 million regardless of a recent 3.72% decline.
