Phala Network Expands to Ethereum with New Layer 2 Rollup

Phala Network, a Polkadot-based parachain and verifiable computation platform, has launched a Layer 2 network on Ethereum in collaboration with infrastructure partners Succinct Labs and Conduit. This expansion integrates Phala’s cryptographic computing solutions into Ethereum’s rapidly growing Layer 2 ecosystem.

The new Layer 2 rollup combines optimistic proofs with zero-knowledge proofs, utilizing “OP Succinct,” a technology developed by Succinct Labs. This innovation enhances optimistic rollups, particularly those built on the OP Stack, by incorporating zero-knowledge proofs for improved scalability and security.
