Prom, a scalable network utilizing Polygon SDK, officially launched its mainnet on November 21, 2024. The mainnet debut follows a successful testnet phase which recorded over 25 million transactions and engaged more than 2 million unique wallets.

Prom’s mainnet utilizes zero-knowledge proof technology, a notable advancement in blockchain scalability, which enhances throughput, optimizes transaction costs, and bolsters security. This technology addresses the core challenges in modern networks related to speed, security, and user interaction, making it a pivotal enhancement over previous network architectures.

The Chief Operating Officer of Prom, Iva Wisher, expressed excitement about the new possibilities the mainnet opens up. 

“With the mainnet going live, we invite developers and users to leverage the enhanced capabilities of our network,” Wisher remarked. 

She emphasized the network’s focus on improving on-chain interaction efficiency and expanding its ecosystem.

Prom’s network benefits from partnerships with industry leaders like Polygon, DWF Labs, Ankr, Goldsky, Automata, and Blockscout. These collaborations have been crucial in upholding the highest standards of performance and security for the network. 

The network’s native token, $PROM, plays a central role by facilitating swift on-chain transactions and serving as the governance token for the Prom DAO. 

The decentralized autonomous organization model allows community members to influence the network’s future while also sharing in the network fees. $PROM is listed on several major exchanges, including Binance, HTX, KuCoin, Gate.io, Upbit, and AscendEx.

The launch of the Prom mainnet marks a significant milestone for developers as well. It provides a robust platform for creating decentralized applications (dApps), supported by a grant-based mechanism that aids in building and deploying applications.
