RadQuest aims to simplify complex DeFi world Web3 engagement

RadQuest, is set to revolutionize the way people engage with decentralized finance (DeFi). Web3 adoption faces a significant challenge: onboarding new users. The DeFi space is filled with technical jargon and complex processes, which often intimidate potential participants.e

Radix aims to address this issue with RadQuest, an innovative onboarding experience designed to simplify and gamify the learning journey for users, making it easier to engage with Web3 technologies.

RadQuest is more than just a tutorial; it’s an interactive experience that educates users about the Radix Full Stack’s unique features, such as native assets, smart accounts, personas, and user-friendly transaction reviews. Developed in collaboration with Ustwo, a renowned digital product studio, RadQuest offers a seamless introduction to the Radix ecosystem, enabling users to learn by doing.

Guided by a virtual companion named Jetty, users embark on quests that introduce them to essential Web3 concepts and the Radix Network. These quests include setting up a Radix Wallet, staking XRD tokens, and using decentralized exchanges (DEXs) with Radix’s secure protocols. Jetty also assists users in creating and managing personas, a feature that enhances privacy and security in digital transactions.

As users progress through the platform, they earn rewards in the form of XRD and collectible NFTs called RadMorphs. These NFTs are created by combining in-game items like Elements, Morph Energy Cards, and RadGems, with each combination resulting in a unique digital asset. All items are tradable on secondary marketplaces, adding an element of real-world value to the gamified experience.

Upcoming initiatives include the integration of MayaChain, which will facilitate the movement of assets into and out of Radix, as well as participation in major events like Token2049 in Singapore and the European Blockchain Convention.

These efforts, alongside the anticipated second round of SuperStaking and a record-breaking network throughput test, are set to solidify Radix’s position as a leading platform in the Web3 and DeFi sectors.
