What to Know
- Shiba Inu trades near $0.00000517 as declining trading volume and weak momentum threaten support at the crucial $0.00000500 level.
- SHIB exchange reserves dropped to 87.1 trillion tokens, while negative netflows indicate withdrawals exceeded deposits despite declining overall market activity.
- Shiba Inu network transactions remain near 4,800, while weak buying demand limits recovery prospects above the $0.00000530 resistance level.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) faces renewed downside pressure as declining trading volume and weak momentum leave the cryptocurrency struggling below key resistance levels. The token trades near $0.00000517, with reduced market participation limiting its ability to recover from recent losses.
Trading activity has dropped considerably compared with the volume increases recorded between late July and September. This decline coincides with weakening technical indicators, suggesting buyers have yet to establish enough demand to support a sustained recovery.
SHIB reached approximately $0.00000627 in late September but failed to maintain its position above the longer-term moving average. That indicator currently stands near $0.00000563, while two shorter-term averages also remain above the market price.
The shorter averages sit around $0.00000541 and $0.00000529, creating additional resistance that could restrict potential upward movement. Meanwhile, the daily Relative Strength Index stands near 40, reflecting subdued buying momentum without indicating oversold conditions.
Recent trading brought SHIB toward $0.00000502, where buying activity helped prevent an immediate decline below the psychological $0.00000500 level. A breakdown beneath this support could expose the September low near $0.00000475, extending the token’s recent downward movement. Conversely, reclaiming $0.00000530 would mark an initial improvement in price structure, although stronger volume would provide additional confirmation.

Shiba Inu Exchange Outflows Decline as Trading Activity Slows
On-chain indicators reveal reduced activity across Shiba Inu exchanges, reinforcing the uncertainty reflected in the cryptocurrency’s technical performance. Exchange reserves currently stand near 87.1 trillion SHIB, representing a daily decline of approximately 0.11%. Net exchange flows also remain negative at roughly 98.9 billion SHIB, indicating that withdrawals exceeded deposits during the reporting period.
Despite these withdrawals, broader exchange activity shows declining participation rather than a substantial increase in accumulation. The seven-day average of exchange outflows dropped 42%, while average inflows declined 14% over the same period. These figures indicate fewer tokens moving between exchanges and external wallets, consistent with the reduced trading volume.
Shiba Inu Network Activity Remains Weak Despite Exchange Withdrawals
Network statistics also show limited growth, with daily transactions hovering around 4,800 and transfers reaching approximately 3,700. Both measures increased less than 1%, indicating relatively stable blockchain activity despite the cryptocurrency’s recent price fluctuations.
Additionally, the estimated value of SHIB held on exchanges declined 0.69% to approximately $447.7 million. Available burn supply data offered no measurable update, leaving token destruction without a confirmed contribution to current price movements.
Exchange withdrawals have therefore provided limited evidence of stronger demand, while technical resistance remains a significant obstacle to recovery. Shiba Inu’s immediate price direction depends on whether buyers defend $0.00000500 or establish sufficient demand to reclaim $0.00000530. Sustained trading volume will remain an important indicator of whether either price movement gains momentum.
