Shiba Inu’s blockchain has now reached two significant milestones in terms of the number of wallets active and amount of transactions.

Shibarium, the official blockchain of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, has recently achieved two remarkable milestones, showcasing its growing popularity in the cryptocurrency space.

According to the latest data from Shibariumscan, the Layer-2 blockchain has exceeded 600 million total transactions and has surpassed 2 million unique wallets.

In the past month, user engagement on Shibarium has surged, with more individuals flocking to the platform to explore various decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.

This uptick in activity is evident as the number of wallets interacting with the blockchain hit the impressive milestone of 2 million.

Official Shiba Inu accounts celebrated this achievement on X, highlighting the dedication and enthusiasm of the community.

As of now, Shibarium has recorded 2,001,471 active wallets.

In addition to the wallet milestone, Shibarium’s transaction count has also seen significant growth, recently reaching 617,132,427 total transactions.

Notably, user activity spiked on November 5, when the transaction volume was approximately 465.2 million.

Since then, it has surged by 32.69%, demonstrating a healthy increase in daily activity, which currently averages around 4.75 million transactions.

Shibarium has not only excelled in wallet and transaction numbers but has also achieved other noteworthy feats.

On December 5, the total value locked (TVL) on the platform reached an all-time high of $10.4 million, with K9 Finance DAO leading the charge at $4.49 million.

Other DeFi protocols, including ShibaSwap, WoofSwap, and ChewySwap, contributed $3.97 million, $1.16 million, and $610,279 to the TVL, respectively.

Moreover, the number of user accounts on Shibarium has increased by 14.52% over the past month, rising from 184,194 to 210,953.

The demand for the network has also surged, as indicated by total gas usage, which jumped from 13.56 trillion on November 7 to 18.52 trillion today.

These impressive statistics reflect a significant rise in user engagement and activity on Shibarium, solidifying its position as a prominent player in the Layer-2 blockchain space.
