  • Large holder inflows spiked from 96B to 224.34B SHIB in 24 hours, signaling increased whale interest.
  • SHIB saw a 173% rise in high-value transactions, with $15.66M transacted across whale wallets.
  • The SHIB price dipped 2.75% despite whale activity, trading near key support at $0.00001160.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) recorded a significant surge in trading activity, with daily volume climbing to 224 billion SHIB within 24 hours. This increase followed a notable spike in large holder inflows, which rose from 96 billion on April 13 to 224.34 billion SHIB on April 14. Data from IntoTheBlock indicated that large holders, typically controlling substantial token supplies, showed intensified accumulation patterns.

The number of transactions in major wallets grew by 173 percent alongside more money going into them. SHIB experienced 1.31 trillion movements of large token amounts equaling $15.66 million. Major institutions enter the market when making moves that shift over $100,000 worth of SHIB coins which hints at investing strategies before future price actions.

Despite the rise in whale transactions SHIB lost 2.75 percent of its value since yesterday trading at $0.00001192. The coin could not stay above $0.00001200 resistance position and breaks through an ongoing downward slope. The emerging market support is found around $0.00001160 while everyone watches for market movement now.

Shiba Inu’s ecosystem developments have also drawn attention. A newly introduced Karma system is designed to boost user interaction by tracking engagement through a point-based mechanism. According to developer Kaal Dhairya, the feature remains in its beta phase but is expected to evolve further. Such initiatives aim to strengthen community involvement and potentially influence token utility over time.

While SHIB’s price continues to face short-term pressure, the rise in large transactions and whale inflows suggests shifting sentiment. Investor interest appears to be reorganizing amid increased on-chain activity. However, total trading volume declined by 17.73 percent in the same period, indicating mixed investor reactions to recent developments and price performance.
