Telegram makes The Open Network (TON) its exclusive blockchain infrastructure for mini-apps. Developers must migrate their applications to TON by February 21, 2025. This decision also establishes TON Connect as the sole wallet integration protocol for these mini-apps, promising a streamlined Web3 experience.

This exclusivity deepens Telegram’s collaboration with TON Foundation, initially formed in 2023.
