WEMADE Announces ‘Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP’ for the 2025 KLPGA Tour Season

WEMADE (CEO: Kwan-ho Park) has officially announced the launch of the ‘Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP’ for the 2025 season of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour.

The ‘Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP’ is a points system for the KLPGA Tour, introduced in 2023 and now entering its third year. Players accumulate WEMIX points based on their performance in each tournament, and the final season rankings are determined by the total points collected. Im Jin-hee claimed the first-place ranking in 2023, followed by Yoon Ina in 2024.

WEMADE will award a prize of 100,000 WEMIX to the player ranked first in the WEMIX Point standings at the end of the season. This prize will be sourced from market purchases. While a portion of the WEMIX issued by the foundation is allocated for ecosystem development, including marketing expenses, WEMADE has decided to purchase WEMIX from the market to ensure the stabilization of the ecosystem.

High-ranked players will also qualify to participate in the WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP, which will be held at the end of this year. In 2023, Lee Yewon emerged victorious, followed by Minseon Kim in 2024.

The 2025 KLPGA Tour season officially commenced with the opening tournament held in Phuket, Thailand, over four days, starting Thursday, March 13. This marks the beginning of an approximately nine-month-long journey. Park Bo-gyeom claimed victory in the opening match, and the current top three players in the WEMIX point standings are Park Bo-gyeom in first place, Ko Ji-woo in second, and Lee Ga-young in third.
