Blockaid, an on-chain security platform with partners including Coinbase, Stellar, and Metamask, has announced its integration with World App, the self-custody wallet of World Network.

This integration aims to enhance security for World App users and developers. The wallet, developed by Tools for Humanity and integral to World Network (WLD), will provide added benefits to mini-app developers and users exploring the digital asset market, Blockaid stated in a press release shared with crypto.news on Nov. 26.

World App offers features like World ID, which enables network users to verify their human identity anonymously. This allows newcomers to engage with the decentralized finance ecosystem while preserving their privacy and security.

Beyond front-end security, Blockaid will monitor on-chain threats, including phishing attacks, crypto hacks, and smart contract exploits. In October, Blockaid partnered with Stellar (XLM), providing the network with protection against these threats. The platform also collaborated with Immutable in the same month.

Blockaid currently supports security for wallet interfaces like Lobstr and Freighter. Its partnership with World App ensures robust protection for users interacting with decentralized applications. Since its launch in 2022, Blockaid has consistently delivered technology designed to shield projects and users from malicious actors.

The platform has helped secure assets worth more than $200 billion and scanned over 5 billion transactions.

According to Blockaid, its technology helps prevent potential losses of up to $300 million every month. In September, Blockaid revealed it had helped fend off a potential $700k loss via Angel drainer.

Coinbase, Stellar and Metamask are among top crypto platforms tapping into Blockaid’s technology. The Venture capital-backed platform raised $33 million from Ribbit, Variant and Sequoia among others.
