Bitcoin shows 0.36% kimchi premium in Korean market on April 17.

As of 12:00 AM KST on April 17, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 109.64 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, down 0.74% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 109.24 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 400,000 KRW and a kimchi premium of 0.36%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 0.34%. Other major altcoins also showed modest premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.29%, XRP (XRP) at 0.36%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.11%, and Sui (SUI) at 0.35%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.1% to 0.3% range.
