Bitcoin shows 0.38% kimchi premium in Korean market on May 1.

As of 12:00 AM KST on May 1, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 113.79 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.11% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 113.36 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 430,000 KRW and a kimchi premium of 0.38%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 0.36%. Other major altcoins also showed modest premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.41%, XRP (XRP) at 0.35%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.40%, and Sui (SUI) at 0.30%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.3% to 0.4% range.
