Bitcoin shows 0.53% kimchi premium in Korean market on May 4.

As of 12:00 AM KST on May 4, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 116.67 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.31% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 116.06 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 610,000 KRW and a kimchi premium of 0.53%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 0.49%. Other major altcoins also showed mixed premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.47%, XRP (XRP) at 0.48%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.15%, and Sui (SUI) at 0.70%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.4% to 1.1% range.
