Bitcoin shows 0.71% kimchi premium in Korean market on May 12.

As of 12:00 AM KST on May 12, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 119.20 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, down 1.02% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 118.36 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 840,000 KRW and a kimchi premium of 0.71%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 0.77%. Other major altcoins also showed solid premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.62%, XRP (XRP) at 0.79%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.96%, and Sui (SUI) at 0.70%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.6% to 0.9% range.
