Bitcoin shows 0.73% kimchi premium in Korean market on May 3.

As of 12:30 AM KST on May 3, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 116.30 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, down 0.01% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 115.46 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 840,000 KRW and a kimchi premium of 0.73%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 0.65%. Other major altcoins also showed solid premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.79%, XRP (XRP) at 0.63%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.82%, and Sui (SUI) at 0.68%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.6% to 0.8% range.
