The Fed kept rates at 3.50% to 3.75%, no surprise there. What everyone actually cared about was what Kevin Warsh had to say. He called the US economy “impressively resilient,” reminded everyone inflation is still above 2%, and made one thing crystal clear: the Fed isn’t giving any hints about what comes next. He also pointed out that both nominal and real Treasury yields have climbed a lot since the last meeting.

Crypto went in different directions. The Bitcoin price ticked up 1% to $64,483, with buyers staying active. Ethereum slipped just over 1%, trading at $1,891.

We took the latest market data, the macro picture, and on-chain activity, then asked Claude AI to map out where both assets might be headed.

Bitcoin Chart Analysis and Latest News

We had a look at the chart, and even with all the Fed-driven ups and downs, Bitcoin’s setup still looks solid. It’s trading near $64,400 and hanging above short-term support around $63,500, after bouncing back from last week’s drop.

Momentum indicators remain balanced, with the RSI near 52 and the Ultimate Oscillator around 57, showing buying pressure has cooled without turning bearish.

Institutional demand continues to provide support. US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted more than $222 million in net inflows during July, extending a multi-week accumulation trend before modest outflows appeared in the latest sessions. Assets under management remain close to $79.44 billion, showing institutions have largely maintained exposure despite price swings.

Not every development has been positive. Core Scientific reported its Bitcoin mining business posted a $12.2 million gross loss during the second quarter, compared with $80 million in gross profit from its AI colocation division. The results underline the pressure miners continue to face after the halving. Even so, Vanguard increased its exposure to Bitcoin treasury company Strive Asset Management through its VTSAX fund, lifting its holding to roughly $23.7 million, another sign that traditional finance continues expanding indirect Bitcoin exposure.

Ethereum Chart Analysis and Latest News

We also reviewed the chart. The Ethereum price continues trading inside a broad consolidation between $1,850 and $1,950 after rejecting the $1,960 resistance zone several times. RSI stands near 52, with the Ultimate Oscillator around 55, pointing to balanced momentum after today’s recovery from intraday lows.

Ethereum’s institutional picture keeps getting better. Morgan Stanley just launched the Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) with a 0.14% expense ratio—the cheapest among US spot Ether ETFs. The fund can stake 50% to 80% of its holdings, so investors get staking rewards on top of regular ETH exposure.

The Ethereum Foundation also brought on security expert pcaversaccio to its board. His job: focus on ecosystem security and strategic oversight as the network keeps growing.

Capital rotation also favours Ethereum. During the June 22-26 period, BlackRock clients withdrew roughly $60 million from IBIT while allocating more than $20 million into Ethereum investment products, pointing to growing institutional interest beyond Bitcoin.

Claude AI Bitcoin Price Prediction

Claude AI expects the Bitcoin price to remain inside a $62,000-$67,000 range if the Fed maintains its higher-for-longer stance.

If the macro picture turns friendlier, ETF money keeps flowing in, and sentiment picks up, Bitcoin could climb into the $68,000 to $75,000 range over the next few weeks.

On the other side, if Treasury yields keep rising, ETF money keeps leaving, and global tensions get worse, Bitcoin could drop back toward $55,000 to $60,000.

Claude AI Ethereum Price Prediction

Claude AI projects the Ethereum price to trade between $1,850 and $2,050 under its base-case outlook.

A stronger institutional bid, growing adoption of the Morgan Stanley ETF and continued capital rotation from Bitcoin could push ETH into the $2,200-$2,600 range.

If financial conditions tighten further and risk assets weaken, Claude AI sees Ethereum falling into a $1,650-$1,800 range.

However, Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to trade on a mix of macroeconomic policy and institutional demand. Claude AI expects both assets to remain range-bound unless liquidity conditions improve, with Ethereum holding the stronger upside potential if capital rotation into smart-contract platforms continues.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did the Federal Reserve keep interest rates unchanged❓

The Federal Reserve left interest rates at 3.50% to 3.75% because it believes inflation remains above its 2% target despite continued economic growth. Policymakers also indicated that additional rate hikes remain possible if inflation does not continue to ease.

What did Claude AI predict for Bitcoin and Ethereum prices❓

Claude AI forecasts the Bitcoin price could reach $68,000 to $75,000 under a bullish scenario, with a base case of $62,000 to $67,000. For the Ethereum price, Claude AI projects a bullish range of $2,200 to $2,600, with a base-case outlook of $1,850 to $2,050.

Why could Ethereum outperform Bitcoin in the coming months❓

Ethereum could outperform Bitcoin if institutional demand continues to grow through spot Ether ETFs, staking products attract more capital, and investors keep rotating funds from Bitcoin into Ethereum. Lower-cost ETF products and improving network fundamentals could also support stronger ETH price performance.
