The cryptocurrency market recorded broad declines on May 17, with most major digital assets trading lower.

According to CoinMarketCap, as of 11:00 AM KST on May 16, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.67% to $77,829.94, while Ethereum (ETH) declined 2.56% to $2,172.02. XRP (XRP) dropped 2.15% to $1.40, and Solana (SOL) slid 3.70% to $85.94. TRON (TRX) rose 0.56% to $0.3539, while Dogecoin (DOGE) lost 3.83% to $0.1084. Avalanche (AVAX) fell 3.32% to $9.22, Bittensor (TAO) declined 4.88% to $269.07, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) dropped 7.92% to $0.0603, and Worldcoin (WLD) slipped 3.13% to $0.239.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Humanity (H) posted the largest 24-hour gain, rising 9.44%, while BUILDon (B) recorded the steepest decline with an 8.24% drop.

Other notable altcoins included Quai Network (QUAI), which rose 1.11% to $0.02803, and Aleo (ALEO), which fell 4.81% to $0.04539.
