The cryptocurrency market recorded mixed performance on May 8, with major digital assets trading mostly lower.

According to CoinMarketCap, as of 11:00 AM KST on May 8, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.93% to $79,374.62, while Ethereum (ETH) declined 1.96% to $2,270.75. XRP (XRP) dropped 2.15% to $1.38, and TRON (TRX) rose 0.47% to $0.3472. Solana (SOL) slipped 0.35% to $87.69, while Dogecoin (DOGE) lost 4.27% to $0.1058. Avalanche (AVAX) edged down 0.35% to $9.45, Bittensor (TAO) declined 1.70% to $299.27, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) surged 9.45% to $0.07297, and Worldcoin (WLD) gained 0.78% to $0.2513.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, siren (SIREN) posted the largest 24-hour gain, rising 19.92%, while SKYAI (SKYAI) recorded the steepest decline with a 25.57% drop.

Other notable altcoins included Quai Network (QUAI), which rose 0.81% to $0.03016, and Aleo (ALEO), which gained 3.15% to $0.0453.

A new cryptocurrency was listed on CoinMarketCap within the past 24 hours, including RIAL (RIAL).
