X Money, the digital payments platform being built at Elon Musk's X, is looking to hire a technical lead in Palo Alto, California, and a leading blockchain network and a few members of the crypto community seem to be too excited.

It is an opportunity to work toward building a foundational product at the intersection of fintech and social platforms. The post asks candidates with over 8 years of experience, ideally with experience in fintech or high-scale platforms, to apply to the job in Silicon Valley.

What was a simple job posting turned out to be a conversation starter in the crypto community when a crypto account said X payments integration with Dogecoin (DOGE) could sent the meme coin rallying.

"Come on Uncle @elonmusk a pump for Christmas is all we’re asking !!!"

Musk has been a vocal supporter of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) and Dogecoin but there is no indication yet of X Money integrating crypto payments.

Meanwhile, the Solana (SOL) blockchain network also stepped in and shared the latest job posting on X.

Members of the crypto community began speculating whether X Money will collaborate with Solana. Musk has dropped no hints so far regarding X Money supporting cryptocurrencies.

"Time to get Solana integrated with X Money," wrote a Solana builder. Another user wondered if X Money is going to be on Solana.

A Solana enthusiast tagged Musk and urged him to build X Money on Solana, the "fastest" rail, which he said offers Visa-level speed at sub-penny fees.

Despite Musk's public support for cryptocurrencies, there isn't any confirmation of X Money partnering with or supporting any blockchain or crypto network.
