ETH SURV SOL TED ALT

Crypto analyst Lark Davis warned that up to 99% of altcoins will go to zero, naming Bitcoin(BTC), Ethereum(ETH) and Solana(SOL) as the only three guaranteed to survive.

Lark Davis' Altcoin Warning

Davis, one of the most followed crypto commentators on X, took aim at projects built on flashy branding and unrealistic promises.

"That coin you bought because the logo is cool: zero. That project promising 100,000 transactions per second: no one uses it," he said. He placed Ripple's(XRP) and Chainlink(LINK) in a second tier with less certain futures. Davis urged investors to hold no more than five to 10 assets: "Understand what you're buying and understand that this is not the stock market."

BTC, ETH and SOL Price Outlook

All three picks face near-term pressure. BTC trades near $72,000, with some analysts warning it could fall as low as $30,000.

Ethereum sits at a key level. X user Ted said on Apr. 10 that holding $2,150 to $2,200 could spark a rally, but warned that "losing this zone means longs will get wiped out." SOL was near $83, up about 5% on the week. Analyst Surya identified a head-and-shoulders pattern and said a breakout above $85 to $87 could push it toward $96.

Bitcoin's Recent Volatility

BTC dipped to roughly $68,000 on Apr. 7 before rebounding above $71,000 after a U.S.-Iran ceasefire on Apr. 8. The rally faded quickly amid reports of continued fighting. The token remains well below its all-time high of about $126,000, set in Oct. 2025.
