Solstice Finance has launched SLX, a utility and governance token designed to support its Solana-based yield and digital dollar ecosystem, which currently holds more than $400 million in total value locked (TVL).

The company said the launch comes as institutional interest grows around yield-bearing digital dollar infrastructure and onchain financial products.

SLX enters the market with no venture capital allocation, a fixed supply model, and token utility linked to protocol usage and ecosystem expansion.

Solstice expands native Solana infrastructure

Built entirely on Solana, the Solstice ecosystem includes USX, which the company describes as Solana’s largest native dollar settlement asset, and eUSX, a yield-bearing dollar asset backed by delta-neutral strategies.

“SLX is how holders benefit from and help direct the infrastructure we have spent three years building. The yield is paid by products that earn it, and the SLX token is built for the people using the protocol and the Solana DeFi ecosystem we operate inside. Infrastructure is the part of crypto that compounds. We are early,” said Ben Nadareski, CEO of Solstice.

Solstice said the protocol already operates live revenue-generating products and supports more than $400 million in TVL as of May 20, 2026.

Separately, Solstice Staking AG secures over $1 billion in assets across more than 8,000 validator nodes.

Launch structure avoids VC allocation

The company said SLX was structured differently from many recent token launches that faced post-TGE selloffs linked to large venture allocations and token unlock schedules.

According to Solstice, SLX allocations include community participation, team incentives, public offerings, liquidity provision, and strategic TVL partnerships.

The protocol also integrates Chainlink oracle infrastructure for pricing transparency, while proof of solvency audits are conducted weekly by Accountable.

SLX is now live on Solana.
